Graduated from Istanbul Robert College, Istanbul Technical University Industrial Engineering and Hamburg-Harburg Technical University Mechanical Engineering departments. Co-founder of Mimta EcoYapi, a family owned company that provides architectural design, green building and energy efficiency consultancy and project management services with a focus on sustainability. Ömer has been involved in numerous green building projects in Turkey, Germany, Spain, the US and the Russian Federation. He has also been active in the photovoltaic energy field in Turkey and has been involved in the installation of numerous PV systems on buildings. Mimta EcoYapi has been awarded LEED Proven Provider status in 2016. Ömer is also a lecturer about sustainable buildings and the LEED certification system at Medipol University in Istanbul.
